My name is Joan and i’m from The Netherlands, so it’s hard determine fabrics to use at such a distance. I would like to know how much time do we need for aproximately 10 designs? Can i ask for your advice long do i have to stay in HoChiMinh for us to develop good quality garments? Im planning a trip to Vietnam to visit your headquarters and i need to know wether you can make all the designs to prepare my visit to Viet Nam, as i am sourcing suppliers to make my designs. I would like to start with a low inventory and scale only as my Brand equity and collection is growing, thus i’d like to start with a small budget of aproximately 4000 Euro, do you think this is possible?

  • Time to make sample pattern maker is 3-5 days
  • You can stay in Ho Chi Minh: 1-3days
    • Step 1: Lets choice exacthly products and design, what you wanna to make.
    • Step 2: Choice fabric
      • If you have to sent your fabric to ours factory – this way: we will make exacthly your fabric then you just stay at ho chi minh 1-3 days
      • Esle, you come and choice fabric on ours factory then you must stay in ho chi minh 5-7 days )
    • Step 3: Confirm or modify sample, then make all order > Payment > Shipping.
  • Budget 4000 Euro is possible.
    • If you just wanna to make sample, then sample fee: 150usd/saple
    • If you make order ( MOQ = 100 products ), then sample fee is free.

What is difference between ODM and OEM?

First, what does ODM mean? An original design manufacturer designs and manufactures a garment that is bought and rebranded by garment wholesalers or retailers for resale. In contrast is OEM: original equipment manufacturer. An OEM supplier only produces garments. An OEM factory does not have designs for sell. A brand like Mango does not have it’s own factories but it does have it’s own designers. They need a OEM factory. Some garment business people have not designers but have shops. They need ODM; designs and manufacturing.
